چکیده
The modified nodal analysis (MNA) is probably the most widely used formulation for modeling and simulation of electric circuits. Its conventional form uses node potentials currents across inductors voltage sources as unknowns, thus taking an viewpoint. In this paper, we propose alternative magnetic oriented analysis(MONA) circuits, which based on charges capacitors primary degrees freedom, giving direct access to these quantities. resulting system has structure a generalized gradient immediately ensures passivity in absence sources. A complete index presented showing regularity under standard topological conditions network interconnection. comparison MNA, differential-algebraic MONA smaller by one cases facilitates numerical solution. Some preliminary experiments are illustration feasibility stability new approach.

Structural Analysis for Electric Circuits and Consequences for Mna
The development of integrated circuits requires powerful numerical simulation programs. Of course, there is no method that treats all the diierent kinds of circuits successfully. The numerical simulation tools provide reliable results only if the circuit model meets the assumptions that guarantee the successful application of the integration software. Because of the large dimension of many circ...
متن کاملEfficiency Estimation Of Electric Machine Using Magnetic Flux Circuits
Improving efficiency of electrical machine is of paramount importance to optimization of operational and resource management. Efficiency method which do not account for iron loss could undermine the effective efficiency estimation. This paper simulates the efficiency variations of electric machine in both transient and steady state, magnetic flux linkages are used instead of the traditional cur...
متن کاملVariational integrators for electric circuits
Variational integrators are symplectic-momentum preserving integrators that are based on a discrete variational formulation of the underlying system. So far, variational integrators have been mainly developed and used for a wide variety of mechanical systems. In this work, we develop a variational integrator for the simulation of electric circuits. An appropriate variational formulation is pres...

متن کاملAlgorithms for Periodic Steady State Analysis on Electric Circuits
Designers of electric circuits are often interested in the behaviour of the designed circuits after turn-on effects have damped out. The traditional way to compute this long-term behaviour is by simulating the electric circuit over a large time interval. However, when the turn-on effects damp out slowly, the computational costs may become prohibitive. Many circuits have a periodic oscillating b...
